Scrap Guidelines
1. Appliances must be Freon free.
2.Vehicles must have a signed title by the owner. Batteries must be removed from the car. We will purchase them. Four tires are allowed per vehicle. However, oversize tires are subject to charges.
3. Basic description of scrap:
Prepared P&S:
Over ¼” ... 5’x’2’ maximum
Plate beams angle
Prepared Heavy Melt #2:
Farm machinery
Truck, car, trailer frames & gears ... 3’x2’ maximum
4. #1 Copper must be new, clean & shiny.
#1 Copper Wire must be thicker than the lead of a pencil
(individual strands). No solder or tin on either.
5. #2 Copper is used. It cannot contain brass. Solder and tin are acceptable.
6. Aluminum Beverage cans can be crushed or whole.
We do not accept safes, beer kegs, propane tanks, plastic, rubber, carbon paper and books.
